Kyle Coleman

Kyle Coleman is the CEO of Liquid Fuel, which is an innovative, all-natural sports and hydration beverage company. In 2011, Kyle formed his first business Athletes Chef, a chef service that catered to professional athletes and training facilities in Scottsdale, AZ. Over time Athletes Chef has transitioned into a consulting company, working with Café Spice, Cardenas Markets, UNIC Espresso Machines, ELOMA Ovens, conducted food demonstrations, consultant for restaurants and food trucks (ideation to buildout).

Prior to Liquid Fuel, Kyle worked for Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, Sprouts Farmers Market and Whole Foods Market.    Kyle’s introduction to grocery was in 2013, Kyle as the Assistant Prepared Foods Team Leader at Whole Foods Market.  With a passion for knowledge and higher achievements, he became the Merchandiser for Bakery/Deli at Sprouts Farmers Market thru a partnership with Monterrey Provisions (2014).  In this position, he was reported to the Category Managers and assisted in repositioning Sprouts Prepared Foods Department into what it is today.  After successfully launching Sprouts new corporate store, Kyle assumed the role of Private Label Global Sourcing Manager (2015).  After successfully launching over 200 sku’s’, Kyle was asked to return “home” (Fresh Side of Business) as Culinary Category Manager and R&D Chef (2016).  He worked with senior leadership in developing the private label programs for Prepared Foods and Meat/Seafood Departments.  In 2019 Kyle became Culinary Manager of Fresh Thyme Farmers Markets.  After assuming this role, he was asked to utilize his skillset to oversee the creation and launch of their internal online ordering system, Instacart, special projects and positioning the company to be compliant with new menu labeling requirements passed in 2016 by the USDA.  Prior to entering the grocery world, Kyle worked as Corporate Chef for Concerto Foods (acquired by Nestle), Smoky Market Foods and TurboChef Technologies, where he worked with Starbucks, Tyson, Safeway, Sara Lee, Subway, and others.
